A Weekend In The Sticks

There is nothing better than girlfriends. And I'm talking about the ones you've had in your back pocket for 20+ years. The ones that will give you their undivided attention....the ones that will cry with you....the ones that will laugh with you as well as laugh at you....and even the ones that will listen to Boz Skaggs "Look What You've Done To Me" with you. This weekend was filled with margaritas, dead cow for dinner and a red flag warning in the backyard...oh and lot's of inappropriate girl talk between 3 high school girlfriends. I can't share what the inappropriateness was about but what I can tell you is next time....someones phone will be confiscated and a disclaimer will be signed at the door. I can't wait to share my weekend again with these lovely ladies whom I treasure every crazy comical moment with. Love you dearly S and A.

Meet Jack. He is one of the sweetest kids I've come across in a long time. This boy has an "old soul." I feel a calm when I'm around him. The other day we had a lunch date at Swingbelly's in Michigan City. He was such a gentleman, the waitress actually complimented his manners. She said "You have such wonderful manners...the best I've ever seen in a kid." His response was "Why Thank You." You can tell he prides himself on being honest and kind towards others. D & A, you have done a wonderful job with him. Can I take him home with me????

Also, I just had to throw in a close up of his golf ball and tee before he hit it out of the course. Good job Jack! I love you.

Hugs That Melt Your Heart

I just had to post this picture of my friends daughter. There is something special about this little girl. She's sweet and my heart just melts when I'm around her. I'm always greeted with a "Hi Shanna" and then wraps her arms around me and gives me a big bear hug. How can that not make your day?
